Secured by Design

Secured By Design is a national crime prevention initiative to ensure products are designed with enhanced security measures. To be awarded a Secured By Design licence, a window or door must have passed stringent security testing at an approved UKAS testhouse. This means that the whole window or door must conform, not just the ironmongery or fittings.

A window or door cannot be sold as a Secured By Design Product unless it has the requisite, up to date licence from ACPO.

Beaufort currently holds the Secured By Design licence and a copy of which is available on request.
